I've seen so many striking color combinations lately that I just LOVE!

Blue and Orange- beautiful!

Royal blue and mauve- awesome

Green and aqua marine- love

Yellow and light blue! Might be my favorite.

Black and gold- very wintery. But I still had to give it a shout out because I think it's so simple and beautiful.

Yes my friends, I am clothing obsessed. And no I really would have no place to wear any of this (I work from home in yoga clothes!). But a girl can dream, can't she??

Saturday!

Happy Saturday! What to do today? Relaxation is on the agenda. This little guy does not like the idea of relaxation. He's like, "Mom, Dad!! You're both home! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! We NEED to go play!!" He is always super psyched about life. And is not too happy about us lazing around reading. We thought about snowshoeing today or skiing, but chilling sounded better.

I think I'll do some yoga, maybe workout, definitely peruse pinterest (as usual) and read these new blogs I found like Nat the fat rat which is ADORABLE! And later meeting a friend for wine- yes!

I love everything about this home design. It's by Amber Lewis of Amber Interiors. There is lots of white, light, and open spaces, with great patterns like ikat sprinkled through out. I loved clicking through each room on CasaSugar

Home Exercising

I meant to go to the gym this morning- but their was a lot of snow on the car that had iced my door shut and I couldn't get it off easily. So instead of working out by shoveling, I did this at home circuit workout courtesy of peanutbutterfingers I added 30 high-knees to this as well. It was tough! By the end I was REALLY feeling the burpees and pushups. So now I'm writing with shaky arms... sign of a great at home workout.

Ok enough of this dream life... my make believe is getting a little too deep. I like the life I have now- I love it in fact! So back to the real world :)

The new vision for my life

I seem to have a new grand idea for how my life should be every few months... I change my mind a lot. My current vision for my life is just amazing! Simple, beautiful, natural, serene. I'll be a beautiful earth mama with her cute little baby, living in a simple yet adorable home in the woods, making rustic delicious food for my family, painting, writing, and walking in the woods. Here are some inspirations for my lovely home. These are all houses I lust after...

Latest Obsession

Yes I get obsessed with things easily. And not just "oh I really like this!" or I spend an hour of my day thinking about- I go all in. All in. My latest obsession is Pinterest of course. I joined about a month and a half ago and haven't been able to stop myself yet. It's like playing make believe for grown ups- yes! I get to pick out all these great outfits I'd wear (if I worked outside of my house and could afford them), plan out all the rooms in my adorable dream home, pick distant locales I want to travel too.
